Elle for Short
Hi, I'm Ellesandra, but you can call me Elle.
I'm a seasoned marketing professional currently serving in the nonprofit space. I have marketing and design experience in many industries including B2B tech, healthcare, nonprofit, transportation, and hospitality.
I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge with students studying design and advertising. I currently serve as a Lecturer for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at University of Nebraska – Lincoln and teach a wide variety of courses from design to technical communications.
I help students identify target audiences and craft thoughtful designs and communication pieces all while teaching the essentials of design. Storytelling and audience are essential pieces for students to consider for success.
My students range in major from Broadcast, Sports Media, Advertising and Public Relations, to Engineering and Construction Management.
I'm Google Analyitcs 4 certified, hold a M.A. in Integrated Media Communications and a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations (both from UNL).
When I'm not teaching or working my full-time job in marketing, you can find me at Prescott Elementary School, where I serve as PTO President, enjoying time restoring our 100-year-old home, or at a local park with my family. My husband and I have two sons, Ezra and Jack, and Lincoln is home.
Take a look around at some examples of my creative work.
